One Year Anniversary Of AnimeQandA

Milestone achieved – one year of AnimeQandA

Can you believe it?! As of today it’s been 365 Days or 52 weeks or 12 months or 1 year (however you like to express it) since I first started this site! My very first post on AnimeQandA was a 20 Question Review of ‘Amagi Brilliant Park’. Looking back on it now it was a bit rough around the edges and adhered to a formula I’m no longer conforming to (the 20 Question format) but it’s still a fun little post that’s remained very unseen (as I type this it only has 1 like!). It wasn’t until I got the supportive ‘bump’ from Raistlin and Irina that the numbers started to tick up, the interactions increased and I felt myself truly a part of this wonderful aniblogging community! And while things are different from back then–I review episodic seasonal anime now and I have a job (which I didn’t when I started)–I still feel a great deal of enjoyment from blogging everyday. And a big part of that reason is you, the reader, regardless of whether you’ve been following me for a long time or a little while, I sincerely thank you for listening to my words on a subject I hold so dearly.

Here’s to many more years of anime and just as many talking about it with all of you!

I love anime and more recently manga too. What else do I need to write here?

  1. Congrats…That reminds me Amagi Brilliant Park is something I still have to get around to for an anime watching challenge or two, so depending on how much other anime take precedence (I’ve got Outbreak Company, NGNL and Amagi in the same challenge, which is why I’m spacing these challenge anime out so much), you may get another like sooner or later…operative word being “may”, because I think leaving likes when you didn’t actually /like/ the content is misleading.

  2. Congrats and thank you. Discovered this site not that long ago. I only watch CGDCT type shows these days, and there’s so little coverage of them in the blogosphere. I understand that sometimes it’s a slog because there’s just not much to talk about (eg. Wataten ep 4 review), but I do appreciate your efforts.

    1. Thank you so much for your comment, CGDCT shows need as much coverage as possible because there’s so much more than meets the eye with them it’s just sometimes it takes a while for these shows to properly get going.
